A Musical Tribute to Carole King, with Kala Farnham, CT State Troubadour In-Person

On Wednesday evening, October 22nd, at 7 pm, Perrot Memorial Library will rock with the music of Carole King, performed by Connecticut State Troubadour Kala Farnham.  In her "I Feel the Earth Move: The Music of Carole King" concert, Farnham effortlessly weaves through the timeless melodies of Carole King, bringing a unique and soulful interpretation to the iconic singer-songwriter's repertoire. From chart-topping hits to intimate ballads, "I Feel the Earth Move" is a celebration of King's influential career, paying homage to King's groundbreaking contributions to the music industry and capturing the essence of her remarkable journey as the most successful female songwriter of the latter half of the 20th century in the United States.

Kala Farnham is a national multi-award-winning performer and songwriter, most recently serving as the Connecticut State Troubadour, a role dedicated to promoting cultural literacy through the music arts. She has shared the stage with notables such as Don McLean, Tower of Power, and Mary Fahl of the October Project. For more information on Kala, visit her website.
